Mr
Wayne Kwan is a business
associate and in-house Consultant of Edu Outdoor Activities
(EOA) Pte Ltd. He is the co-founder of EcoMapping™
with EOA in which Nature is used as a tool for Organisational
and inter-personal enhancement.
Wayne brings
with him more than 15 years of experience in management
consulting, training, education, and research. Wayne
and his team of associates specialize in the application
of leading-edge diagnostic & assessment tools to
help businesses and individuals maximise their performance.
Some of the popular tools include Business Performance
Diagnostics™, 3-Sixty Profiler™, Competency
Profiler™, Myers Briggs Type Indicatorâ,
& DISC Personal Insights Profile™.
Wayne is currently
the Managing Partner with ABTRUST CONSULTING ASSOCIATES.
He also oversees the M.A.D. CENTER® – the
Management Assessment & Diagnostic Center. He was
previously the Principal Consultant with an international
management consultancy group. Prior to that, he held
various senior management positions at both local and
multinational organisations. Wayne holds bachelor, graduate,
and professional degrees in management from both local
and overseas universities. While studying overseas,
he won several scholarships and research awards from
the universities and the government.
Wayne has extensive
experience, knowledge and training in applied business
psychology & behaviour. He also provides one-to-one
coaching and counselling on career optimization. Wayne
is trained, licensed and certified to use the MBTI®
& its related materials. The MBTI® is the most
widely accepted psychometric tool in the world. Most
Fortune 500 companies use the MBTI® .
Wayne is also
a certified trainer of the Adventure Learning Technology,
and the Wilson-PSB’s Team Innovation programmes.
He is a Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst (CPBA)
from the renowned Success Insights International (USA),
a pioneer in the DISC behavioural profiling system.
He has participated in the internationally acclaimed
Harvard Negotiation Project programme. As a seminar
leader and a workshop facilitator, Wayne blends a powerful
and energetic style with a marvelous sense of humour
to inspire and motivate people to learn.
Wayne consults
with organisations representing a broad spectrum of
businesses that include the Fortune 500 companies. His
clients include the Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore
Airlines, CISCO Systems (USA), Singapore Tourism Board,
Ministry of Health, National Panasonic, Hewlett-Packard,
British Airways, Prudential Insurance, Bosch Group,
Pacific Internet, Swiss Reinsurance, Ricola Asia Pacific,
IBM, and many more.
He has previously
worked in USA and Australia, teaching in and consulting
through business schools there. He has been an adjunct
lecturer at a number of well respected business schools
including the National University of Singapore, Nanyang
Technological University, Curtin University of Technology,
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Strathclyde
University, and Maastricht University (Netherlands).
He regularly teaches in the undergraduate and graduate
business programmes, and conduct executive development
courses at the Singapore Institute of Management and
Marketing Institute of Singapore.
Wayne is also
author to a number of management publications and has
presented papers in international management conferences.
His works have appeared in both local and international
journals such as the Singapore Management Review, Journal
of Marketing Planning & Intelligence, Journal of
Marketing for Higher Education, and Journal of International
Marketing & Marketing Research. He has appeared
in business talk shows over the Radio Corporation of
Singapore. He is also listed in the International Who’s
Who Directory.
In spite of his
busy schedule, Wayne finds time to serve & contribute
to the community. He serves as a counsellor to secondary
school students and volunteers his time to charitable
organisations. He is a volunteer with the Ministry of
Community Development & Sport as a Family Life Ambassador.
He was previously a member of the Board of Governors
at the Singapore Armed Forces Reservist Association
(SAFRA). He has also served as the pioneer member of
the validation team (for management courses) at the
Centre for Computer Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. |
