Approach
Participants will be introduced to
the methodology of action learning through a 2D 1N workshop
encompassing various interesting outdoor activities.
Action Learning helps managers to 'learn by doing’
in ‘real time’ and in a ‘real environment’
by engaging with the dynamics of the ongoing situations.
Methodology
Action learning is a methodology to
implement change, and to develop leadership skills working
in teams to find “innovative” ways of overcoming
obstacles in uncertain situations using the “combined
knowledge” of the members of a team. Action learning
processes such as “insightful questioning”,
“reflection” and “team skills”
will help to improve the company business and management
processes.
Action
Learning has been successfully used around the world
by organisations to implement change, and to develop
leadership skills among managers working in teams (or
sets) to find ‘innovative’ ways of overcoming
obstacles in uncertain situations using the ‘combined
knowledge’ of the members of a team. It has been
used successfully by MNC’s like General Electric,
Johnson and Johnson, Citibank, Shell, Exxon, Sandvik
(Sweden, China & Australia), General Motors, Motorola,
and British Airways.
